Industrial engineer turned supply chain professional. I work at Almirall, a pharma company based in Barcelona, managing relationships with external manufacturing partners. Day to day that means contracts, suppliers, projects and a fair amount of spreadsheets, all with the goal of getting medicines out the door on time.
My education, work experience, & skills.
December 2024 – Present
Managing Almirall's relationships with external manufacturing partners. That covers outsourcing strategy, contract negotiations and keeping multi-team projects on track. Also running the Global Supply Excellence initiative, a long-running effort to improve processes and build shared performance metrics across the team.
July 2021 – December 2024
Planning production, managing procurement and keeping finished goods flowing from external factories. I was the link between suppliers and internal teams in Logistics, Quality, Regulatory and Finance. Also led several product launches and pushed for adopting digital tools like Power Apps within the team.
July 2020 – April 2021
Helped out in the Business & Economics department. I put together course materials, exercises and exam questions for undergrad lectures.

Worked on the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) project. A good introduction to how large companies think about risk and keeping things running when something goes wrong.
2019 – 2021
Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering. Thesis: Biological Drug Launch Analysis.
2017 – 2018
One semester in Luleå, Sweden. Engineering and management coursework, plus an introduction to Swedish.

Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering. Thesis: IT Service Continuity Management Project.
Things I'm into.
Some things I've worked on.
An ongoing initiative at Almirall to improve how we work with external suppliers. Covers process reviews, building shared KPIs, and getting proper visibility on what's actually happening out there.
Coordinated the supply side of the commercial launch of efinaconazole. Got manufacturing ready in time and kept regulatory and commercial teams in sync throughout.
Built the external supply strategy for Almirall's biologic launch. Biologics are a different beast to small molecules, so this was a proper learning curve in terms of supply chain complexity.
Introduced Power Apps and some AI tools within the team to cut down on manual work and improve how we track and report. Still a work in progress, but it's already saved a lot of time.
